Explore a mystic Japanese Garden encircled by a sea of clouds

Bunkyo-ku and Shinjuku-ku are areas perfect for a relaxing, quality time while still being in the heart of the city. Traditional Japanese gardens and various cultural facilities are in abundance, while there is also Kagurazaka, a charming district known for the cobblestoned alleys, and a downtown area where retro trams run along the streets. Here, you can encounter many undiscovered attractions of Tokyo.
One of the Bunkyo-ku area’s most prestigious hotels is the Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, operated by Fujita Kanko Inc. The historical Japanese garden on the grounds displays countless beautiful sceneries for every season, from the cherry blossoms in the spring to fresh greenery and fireflies in the summer, colorful foliage in the fall, and snow and camellias in the winter. In celebration of the 70th anniversary of its opening in 2022, a mystical sea of clouds is staged in the garden, called the Tokyo Sea of Clouds. At night, the garden is illuminated in seasonal light displays. Explore the misty garden and feel as if walking among the clouds, or enjoy the magical view from your room while dining in luxury. For a wonderfully rejuvenating time, visit the acclaimed “Yu, the Spa,” winner of the Crystal Award as the Top Spa of Japan.

Fujita Kanko Inc.
